This is a little like asking, “What’s a family?” At Sunridge, being in a Life Group is a lot like being part of a family. Like a family, you do life together — with all its ups and downs. Like a family, your roots go deep — it’s where you belong. Like a family, it’s no utopia — it can be messy and imperfect, like the people in it.
Life Groups come in all shapes and sizes. A Life Group can be four people, or it can be forty. It can be made up of couples, men only, women only, young families, grandparents, college students, or a mix of everybody.
A Life Group is a safe place to ask questions. We study the Bible. We love our neighbors. We care for each other. We play. We follow Jesus.
Life Groups usually meet on weeknights in homes across the valley, and a typical meeting lasts about an hour and a half. You can expect a meeting to include interactive discussion, prayer and light refreshments. (Note: no one will force you to talk, pray or even eat!
) How can I get more information about the different groups or leaders?
Please feel free to stop by the “Groups” counter at the main entrance or by emailing John at the church office jgaskins@sunridgechurch.org
